i pulled the list from the city's website. i was kind of amazed to see that many too. i think they have a list of the major ones at the airport in case you need one too.

Upside down pizza with a big bowl of leafy greens for $15. You usually have to wait outside in line for 30min to get a seat but the friends i took usually loved it (ninja_k and sugarbean)

highly recommended!

i've been dying to try it out ever since it was featured on some show on the Travel or Food channel.

there's really no way to describe Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder other than to show someone. plus they have some pretty good beers there like Fat Tyre.

thnx for the explanation :-p

Posted by Blizwar2 on Dec-14-2007 01:19:

You should probably add some good bars there that aren't good enough to be called clubs. Places like the lionshead pub and it's cheap food on week nights.

Seriously 1/3 pound burgers for a 1$ 2$ with cheese and fries, and 2$ 12 ounce beers. (I think that one is on a Wednesday night.)

Add The Red Lion - A real cozy English pub on lincoln where Al Capone hung out, considered one of the most haunted places in Chicago. ( excellent unknown beer garden up on roof too)
