Huge Efdemin fan as far as production work goes. I've never heard any DJ sets though so definitely looking forward to hearing this.

he collects this record in every place he visits

he gave my friend one of them and then she gave it to me lol, so i have a piece of his fetish in my collection. he said he wants to make an art exhibition with these lol

this tracklist looks immense, lots of stuff i am playing - the brothers' vibe, patrice scott, surgeon, tobias, and the svek tune

the surgeon track is a killer

Never in one interview has the room been plagued by so much hipster. I can actually feel the hipster ebbing off my monitor.

One sick mix cd this! Have heard it a couple of times now and still like it more for each listen. Craig Alexander - Soul Revival

I wanted to pick up a bunch of singles from the Beatport release but figured I'd pay my respects, as it were, and just buy the CD

anyone know which song was played at the beginning of the redbull interview?

This interview has been brought to my attention, all I can say... good fucking lord, seriously?

I still love Efdemin stuff btw.

Posted by Ted Promo on May-26-2009 17:52:

Srsly, this is the worst interview ever. It's like they're all channeling some hipster artfag spirit bomb. Staring off into nothing for 5 minutes and then having the quietest interview in recorded history about fuck knows what.

And Efdemin looks like he shouldn't be residing near a school.

Phillip Sollmann is a gleaming wanderer between dissimilar worlds. A graduate of computer music and electronic media in Vienna, he also studied Berlin's hedonistic club life as a reservoir jock at Berghain and learned the ropes of an arty-but-not-warty record label in Hamburg. Being part of the adorable Dial collective under his pen name Efdemin, he conjures romantic techno and condensed house. Preferably released on good old polyvinyl chloride like his self-titled album. Occasionally referential as a thesaurus and often an equivalent to the nouvelle vague, at other times a musical piece of his is 'just a track'. Catharsis, dear friends, catharsis. And most of all: if house really is a nation, he wants to be its president.

wat?
