Going on a trip to Cuba

Me and a couple buddies want to go to a trip to Cuba... But we're not sure what resort we should choose... We're all around like 19-21 so we want to go to the part of Cuba that has wild people that include wet bikini contests and passing out on the beach nightly haha

I was told that most Cuban resorts attract a rather older crowd. So anyone from TA that has gone to Cuba post up your reviews and suggest a resort that would fit my needs!

You'd be hard pressed to find that shit in Cuba. You're thinking of Mexico, I think. The Cuban locals are friendly, but not crazy and wild like that (probably because of the communism lol). Your best bet at wildness will have to be what you and your friends can conjure up, and probably other resort members. Be careful though - you're pretty safe at the resort, but I don't know how well the local Cuban police will take to drunken shenanigans and to finding your passed out body on the streets. They have hefty sentences even for minor crimes there.

Just came back from Holguin, and we (gf and I) loved it. Cuba's not really a party place - it's more of a relax and have a good time place.

Edit: We stayed at Club Amigo Atlantico in Guardalavaca, and it was very good value for $700 each for a week. The food wasn't the greatest, but the included amenities more than made up for that.

Cancun Is probably one of the best resort cities for partying in the world. It'll have exactly what you're looking for.

Cheap and drunk women...

If you want the more upscale party atmosphere...go to Cabo. I've been there a few times and some of the best times of my life there!

If you have your heart set on cuba try posting on trip advisor.

I'm sure that theres a resort or two that are geared toward the college students.

I've always found trip advisor really helpful.

seems like your resort was similar to ours - even judging by pics very relaxed, hardly crowded etc etc

I thought that was only sending money? the travel ban as far as i know is still in place... but who knows with Obama what could happen

Ni-cd and I went to Punta Cana in Jan, it was full of young partiers too!!!! and very affordable....

I've been to punta cana twice and both times found a lack of young adults and it was pretty quiet (which i like).

I suppose it depends on the resort as well.

If you're looking for a place where you can travel off the resort i wouldnt recommend punta cana... all the resorts are pretty far away from any city life, although there is some local club near by.

Thanks for the feedback. The reason we're choosing Cuba is mainly because its cheap... A LOT more cheap that other hotspots. Doing some more Google research Varadero seems to be the best bet for my needs.

and for travel...I'm a Business Development Manager for Eastern Canada for a major company...meaning I can hook you guys up...I deal with corp, but i can pull some strings and hook you up...if you own a bus., work for a corp, own a label, lemonaide stand etc...even better
