Well, it's a brief low quality sample, but I'm cautiously optimistic they have not ruined the "Andain" sound.

Sounds more like classic G&D which is a good thing.

I'm willing to bet you haven't listened to much of anything of theirs pre-2005, when almost every track and remix they put out was unique and ahead of the curve and about as opposite as you can get from a "template" or cookie-cutter. Post '05 their sound changed for the worse, no doubt. (Ie: see their artist album). Less melodic, and more rough electro/8-bit video gamey.

Source for that? I doubt most of those tracks were intended for Jess. "Sydney" is the only track that has a similarity to Motorcycle IMO. It's VERY similar to "Around You."

indeed, i can't imagine those electro'ish tracks were made for motorcycle..
i know My Blue Heart was remade into Eucalyptus, but unfortunatly didn't make it to the album..

sources:
01-gatecrasher-motorcycle_live_on_radio_dinamit_fm_09-05-2004-utb
a guy from ************* forums released 3 unreleased motorcycle demo's
and yes "around you" sounds made it into sydney

looks like tranceaddict censored that, it's the TT forums

the motorcycle versions of the track didn't have the electro sounds, for example, the break down in the club mix of "Imagination" had the same exact breakdown as "Dangerous Power", but the release part didn't have the electro synth as they added with "Dangerous Power".

Posted by Magistrate on May-21-2009 08:27:

ah ok, didn' know that

Yeah, that was my point. (The original Motorcycle tracks weren't electro-ish).

I have an old rip from a live set of Imagination (probably the club remix) with Jess singing live. He voice was horrible but the music itself was great.
