Ronaldo to Madrid for 80 Million Pounds
Confirmed.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/foo...utd/8094720.stm
As a lifelong United supporter I don't mind this in the slightest.
If you don't want to be at Old Trafford then pack your bags up and get the fuck out. It happened with Becks, and now its happened with Ronaldo. We survived then and we'll survive now, United is bigger then Ronaldo will ever be.
Sure we'll miss him, but IMO 80 million quid is in all honesty fair market value in European football, and apparently the Glazers will give Fergie all of it for transfers.
Ronaldo is amazing and leaves big shoes to fill, but 80 million will let us buy Tevez, Ribery, and still have enough left over for another significant addition or two.
Best of luck to Ronaldo I say, he was pivotal in last years European and domestic success, but always wanted to move to Madrid eventually and if his heart wasn't at United anymore, then its best he leave.
Anyways looks like we can expect him at BMO this summer. Needless to say I still won't be persuaded to go.
faack ronaldo
never liked him
Kaka + Ronaldo = FAIL.. these two will not be able to play on the same team, mark my words, I smell lots of drama. Real is wasting money once again...
Perez thinks this is FIFA....this shall be FLOPerez's doom
fucken cry baby
Perez is a dick and is totally inflating the market even further. Where the fuck are they getting this money anyways, sure they're the second richest team in the world but they are in quite a bit of debt. It's ridiculous how he's managing to get the loans for this stuff, 160 million euros within a week? Not to mention the players Salaries. Rumors have it that Villa is their next target. I agree that Kaka and Ronaldo cannot player together. I think Ronaldo will do well. Being a Milan fan and watching them on the regular, I can say Kaka is a shadow of the player he was before his surgery. He will get injured and be sidelined once again, and Madrid won't make it past the round of 16 in CL as usual.
what are they like the fakin yankees now??
whatever ronaldo is a great player but I could go without the drama and the crybaby shit....be a MAN!
As I posted in RPB....
80 million quid for that little scrotum
real ronaldo legend
REAL MADRID REVENUES 2007/08
Increased by 4% to 290m
Driven by increased commercial revenues
Commercial revenues accounted for 35% of income
Broadcasting income accounted for 37%
Matchday accounted for 28%
Source: Deloitte
Also, Real and Barcelona, are exempt from demands imposed on the majority of Spanish football clubs to become publicly listed companies.
Unlike many top European football clubs, Real Madrid are owned by its thousands of members, who elect the president.
That leaves it free of all the ramifications for takeovers and potential debt issues that being a listed company could involve.

Get ready for all the ManU dickriders because of C.Ronaldo to jump the boat!
Been a life long R.Madrid fan mainly because of the reason I was born in Netherlands and basically our whole National team plays for them... I'm happy I'm not sure how Kaka & C.Ronaldo will co-exist.
2000-Figo most expensive player in the World (Golden Ball/World Player of the Year)
2009-Ronaldo most expensive player in the World (Golden Ball/World Player of the Year)
Not bad for a country with a population of just under 10 million
And to see him leave the team I hate most in this world makes this even sweeter.

I'm so so so so so happy to see the King of all Douchbags FINALLY leave the EPL... Great talent (I guess this is the mandatory thing to say) - but a complete douche.
And for all those praising all those wonderful Dutch RM players - I can see why you'll love Ronaldo - he's a great fit.
It's a pity all the Dutch couldn't play like this guy:

Please TOTA, stick to crappy techno and house or whatever you listen to but please don't talk about football, half of you don't know jack shit.
P.S. Most of you don't know anything about music either.
