Falony - Dublanta vol.2 June 2009 [dubstep/2-step/dubblies/abortocide]
This one comes a bit late. I was noticing everyone out there seemed to be playing the same Martyn, Skream, or 2562 track and had to backtrack. It also seemed that there was a serious lull in the dubstep world of quality music, so it took one recording of music I wound up really disliking, and a plunge back into the record bin to scrounge up something a bit different. It's still loungey. deep dubstep, just with a bit more love to go about.

goddamit, link sucked, new link coming
I enjoyed your last Dublanta mix, so i'll probably throw this on the ipod for a while.
And man, I was considering dicking around with a dubstep mix and noticed the same thing...all the current quality stuff has been beaten to death, so that idea was short lived.
u look like a gay
I'm going to be honest with you. I've never listened to Dubstep and if you remember, I said I was going to begin with one of your sets just to see what it was like. Truth is, I never got around to it. However, I really do want to listen to one of your sets, which one do you think is a good place to start?
DLing now....

Must try this!!

Mane, I'm not quite doing this mix justice by listening with these cheap piece of shit earbud headphones, I want to be able to hear the bass, but at work I can't really do that. I'll probably give it a better listen later, but for now I'll finish up the mix.
//listening...
10min in, WAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAH

40min in, you're picking up the energy a little bit, up until now has been really ridiculously loungey and chillax, which is good, but can be a tad boring without a change in pace, and that's what you're doing here. I really like this stretch through about 48 minutes-ish.
You lower the energy a little afterwards with some nice reverb'd piano, it almost sounds like the Moonlight Sonata melody... love it. The track right after that is wonderful! I love the flute melody, I feel like I'm floating... good stuff. The last track is very pretty, an excellent way to finish off the set. I'm not sure how I feel about the childrens voices off in the distance, seems a little off.
Overall, I actually liked this better than Tethered Survival or Dublanta 1, simply because of the way the set progressed and finished, you never lost control of your energy and you maintained a fantastic atmosphere that was downtempo and relaxed. Well done, Adam, I really enjoyed this. ![]()

All these mixes have been done on a friends cdj 1000's and djm 800 so I like to mess about with them a bit since I've only got cdj 200's and a dxm06 -- that enydo is borrowing for a spell

I forgot to mention how much I have been enjoying this mix. It has convinced me of two things: Dubstep (at least the kind that you mix - I did listen to your other mix as well) is GREAT music to listen to while chilling out. Second, I gotta start grabbing a few dubstep tracks from Beatport. I think I'll do that and try to incorporate both Dubstep and techno into a mix one of these days.
I love this so fucking much. Normally I put on some dubstep when I want to relax or do work, but in this case I'd gladly make an exception, seeing how I'm tempted to leave it on repeat 24/7 lol. Very nice (:
Thanks again guys. It was hard compiling this one, but a lot of fun. Hopefully it gets a bit easier to find tunes for next month
I'm still banned as ted promo (lol, swamper said it'd be 2 weeks only, but wtvr) so I can't edit the first post, but for those interested in a direct download mirror link, I've uploaded it to my ftp

GET IT
also, pity bump.
Okay, I'm downloading now.
When I was in here a few weeks ago I wanted some dubstep and I saw Enydo's mix and yours side by side. I downloaded his because I knew you were banned and wouldn't read any feedback I left. So next time: less child rape jokes.
