Question Camping!

Hello Fellow TA's

i dont post that often, but find when i do, you guys are quiet helpful
so here we go

I am looking for a good campground to do up in the summer

I am going to be camping with a group of at least 10 people, and we are looking for a place where we can get loud late (as we love to pump up the jam) drink, and generally have a good time (so good stuff to do durin the day like a beach, water sports, etc.... ...

I have been to white sands in sauble beach before and found it to be a good time, and there was relativity no noise problems with our loudness

I dont have anywhere particularly in mind, just somewhere were it will be a good time,

any of you guys have a good suggestion?
where we can be as loud as we want

thanks a lot!

Pinery is a great campground, but it a family campground. They are strict with the noise and maybe friends have received tickets from waking around with booze, etc. If you plan to go make sure you ask which areas are for the younger crowd.

The past three years we've gone to Finlayson Point, and we absolutely love it there; but it's not for everyone. Most the people that go there are regulars so we've never had a noise complaint, however, it's up north so it's pretty chilly during the summer. Which is why I said it's not for everyone. If you don't mind the weather though, I think it's one of the best camping grounds in Ontario.

I've always liked Killbear Provincial Park, never had any problems there regarding noise levels or booze. It's a beautiful park with awesome campsites, and right on Georgian Bay. It's about 2.5 hrs north of Toronto, far enough away, but not too far.

I went to Sauble a couple years ago, and i was in a group of approx 20 ppl... we had over 8 tents on a few lots and were able to have our bonfire going for all hours of the night. The lots next to us were also up partying all night.
The only problem was that the beach was a 5-8 min drive away and it definitely wasn't walking distance.

my cottage is about a 2 minute boat ride from Killbear. Its definately a nice area...more family oriented though.

For the past 2 years (and going again this friday!!) I've been going to Turkey Point provincial park down near Port Rowan....

They have big campsites for groups over 10 ppl, its very well secluded from the main campsites and we've NEVER had a noise complaint and we can get pretty fuckin rowdy lol

There's a beautiful beach about 1km down the strip and a nice bar there too for drinks in the afternoon.

Algonquin is family oriented. You're sure to get fined if you're noisy at night.

i love killbear, but as already stated, it is too family-orientated for what the O.P is looking for
