Clovis - Opening Avalon 6.27.09

Recorded 6.27 opening the Avalon Hollywood mainroom with Lee Burridge followed by Steve Lawler.

1st time using Traktor Scratch + my laptop at a gig

Played a mix of new shit and stuff I've always wanted to hear in that room. World class custom designed EAW sound system in that old theater sounds fantastic. I walked down onto the dancefloor while the place was still empty just to listen to track 2 from the middle of the room. Aural orgasm.

Yeah I think playing Dead Souls was the biggest mistake here...kinda throws the set off

But damn it sounded good in that room
