Armin was quality, But Fergie was the man of the fest for me, he worked the crowd up into such a frenzy.

When Armin played Silver bath and his remix of solar stone.... OMG

Tiesto was MINT i really loved his set...

He played the likes of

Carrera2
Cafe del mar
Lethal Idustry
DMB - the space between
Katana - Fancy Fair
GAtex

ANd other mint tunes i cant remember.

PAul Okenfold played sum sort of bootleg mix of the ferry corsten remix of William Orbit Vs Jada - Just another day....

Yeh I just got back in from it too, been up for 32 hours need sleep! Tiesto and paul van dyke were probs my fave of the night, some excellent tunage played. I had a look at the chemical brothers live and it was actually pretty good tent was packed out. Disapointing queues to get into the whole event I qued for 2 hours and every1 was getting pissed off. Judge jules played a pretty good set actually and got the crowd going. I saw a bit of oakenfold but i thought it was a little disapointing, best part of him playing is every1 chanting 'oakie, oakie.' Altogether a wicked night apart from the foul piss pots.

PvD?

someone tell me!?!?!?!? I r very curious...

f0x

Posted by burns on Jun-23-2002 15:05:

Tiesto & PvD were the very special guests from what ive heard.

Posted by Dave_Masters on Jun-23-2002 15:43:

No PvD had always been on the lineup tiesto was the guest.

Fox, Pvd was actually good and redeemed himself from his pooey NEC set. He played it quite hard,
he played :

E-Cutz - And then they Start to Dance
Paul van Dyk - Take Me Higher - Man i hate that
4 strungs Into - Diving
Rank1 - Awakening

And other good tuneage.

Best for me was tiesto and armin. Man, we armin played Silver bath it was FUCKING AMAZING! All the lights went red and everyone was going MENTAL!

Posted by arturob on Jun-23-2002 15:46:

omg.
Take Me Higher owns live hhehehehe.. So good..

He didn`t play ECutz when I saw him :P I really don`t like song hehehee...

Im glad you had fun.

Many Greetings,
f0x

Yeh man, knew that.

Posted by sigmarius-7 on Jun-23-2002 16:35:

just got back...its four o'clock in the totally knackered afternoon sunday (the travelling was A JOKE).

...sorry guyz that i didnt meet ya' but i only got in gc at 7 bastard 30. as far as the main-arena was concerned...i heard the last few tracks of pvd and about 1/2 hr of mauro...and the mainroom was f@@@ing rocking. there was no room what so ever to dance so i assume that the mainarena had everything it promised plus one.

As far as some other points...well to start with the coach organisation from northampton absolutely sucked we arrived and waited for 2 whole hours to brought to gcsss on those 1 in every fifteeen min shuttle palavas. when i got there security was quick and i didnt actually queue...saying that thou' waiting at the trainstation i was told 'oh...there is no point moaning about waiting for a shuttle as the queue to get in to the sss was an hour and a half.

then to my greatest dissappointment...CARL COX GLOBAL ARENA DID NOT EXIST...umek,val kazyani, mistress barb, the three dick wizard did not show at all...green velvet's PA was shortened and was stuck in the chemical gen arena...the times which were sold on cards FOR 5 were wrong as far as i could tell and i wasnt the only person who noticed this...resulting in me missing dave clarke(errrrhhhh)...and i was especially not impressed that the staff of gc were pointing me wildly towards different tents with me searching for the carl cox arena, andeven thou it was clear for a while that the arena was not to happen...reasons why and stories r not for me to tell, but come from semi-reliable,helpful source (and also caining) man with long hair providing stage security at the chem gen arena. chemical brothers i did not see but was told they rocked.another thing about the peeps in the chem gen arena at the front stage were very vibey...made it hard for me to feel comfy...miserable bunch.

apart from that i saw pete tong's and lucien foort's set and both especially lucien was kicking throughout.

i also want to say max respect to dutch guyz who made it over...very friendly peeps.

oh...i was the guy in the green/desert mil combo and new rock boots...apart from that (it coud have been for me) a rocking night.

Yeah I saw ya right at the end, I though hold on that bib thing says tranceaddict on it, shoulda gone to say hi but me n ste were trying to sort out how to get back:s

At this moment in time I can't really remmeber much about the DJs and tunage , there were some meorable moments though and I loved the huge pointless chats

I couldnt get any sense out of ya. Pills effect you more than anyone else.

Anyway i decided to walk it and get picked up by my dad 2 and a half miles from gcsss.

Some cybers were very lsot about 4 miles away, so they r prob still wandering around.

And u should have seen mk, it was like cyber city at the train station. I hope sy got home ok

Djs were good. Now give me some hard tunes to play loud.

Anyway i cant be arsed to write a long report, u will hear about it from me for a long time.

Lets jsut say organisation was crap

But good night had by all

Another succesfuk meet up that seemed to just come together

Oh and i saw calla for about 5 mins for the whole night, lol

Posted by Dave_Masters on Jun-23-2002 19:15:

Yep

Oh and one of the funniest moments of the night.

Sy and myself were sat at the top of the main arena totally shattered, and sy was rolling a joint for this women, which he messed up big time, this wasnt the funny bit.

Now we must have been sat there for about an hour and a half. And i was drifting off to sleep with fergie playign in the background.

Then suddenly i looked up and saw spad, jeff and anita sat right next to me, and me and spad just looked at each other, and was like "wtf"

They had come and sat down right next us for a good 2mins and we didnt realise. Hehe. Funny as

That somes up the very strange night had by all

Smiley DJ

Ello' All,

Well, considering myself and DaveC only decided to go friday night, whilst purchasing Dave's GKGG ticket, it was a really good night!

However, finances became a problem very quickly, food, spendin money, camera film, PARKING etc. All added up quickly, and to add to how peed off we were at lack of funds, some fucking skanky gippo sold us a dodgy 'programme laminate'...was totally fake, wrong times n everything. ****s. If i see em at GK, im gonna get em arrested. lol.

Oakie was good, Tiesto was amazin, Armin impressed me cos i hadnt heard him before, Julesy was rather good too and UK Garage is officially fucking shit.

Same for RnB too! "Its late at night, im all alone, on the phone. Im 14 years old, ooooh baby"

TRANCE RULES THE MUSIC WORLD!

Good night though, glad I had Spad's fone number, otherwise we wudnt have found you lot. Only really saw alot of Sy, Kinuvan and Fly. But im sure everyone had a great night.

Me and Dave werent quite sure if we'd make it home with our petrol but we were ok, just paced ourselves and made sure we dint get lost! Running on fumes tho nearer to home. And i got pulled by the old bill! They asked us if we had a good night etc, saying they were doing spot checks on cars cos last year there was alot of accidents, which is fair enuff. Then one said "I have a dog in the car, a drugs dog" as if he wanted me to confess that i had a boot full of Crack or summit. I said "yeh, you can search my car with it if you want" then he asked if i had anything, cos the dog WOULD pick it up.
I said no mate, but showed him some pro plus. Explaining that i wasnt sure if the dog would find them or not so i'd confess that i had em, even tho they are legal.
The thick copper werent sure about them, thought were E or summit. Eventually letting us go after consulting the rest of Thames Valley Police Force, without searching the car and thanking us for our co-operation. Fair Enough, just doin a job at end of the day, and they were polite enough.

All in all tho, had a great night once again and really looking forward to Godskitchen now! Lineup is amazing. Me and Dave are bringing along my girlfriend and her mate too, never been proper clubbing before so im really looking forward to taking them along to such an amazing event, and introducing them to UKTA of course. lol.

Lastly, big shout out to all those who were there last night, it wudnt have been as good without the those from UKTA .

See you all soon at GKGG! Here we go, again.

Josh.

Dancing Dude GCSSS - Did you enjoy??

It was good to see alot of ya for the first time since the Nec. Hope ya all had a good time (even if the volumes could have been cranked up a notch!) I am now completly fooked, and me and Happy_Dropper had to walk 5 miles to get a lift back! Even then we had to wait 3 hrs for the lift, and fell asleep in a park!

Who Played the best set, and what was with all those fences in the main arena?? (fray and gib) I cant actualy remember many of the choones played, and each dj seemed to come on and off in a matter of mins! Armin was good,so was Jules and Picotto!

Cheers for ther fun in the sun people,
Teraz

I had an absolutly mental night!! Kept loosing and finding people, and got confused to who I was talking to at various points in the night!

It was good meeting everyone again. By the end of the night I was batterd though, i could hardly stand up after my 5th pill!

I thought AvB played the best set of the whole night, but due to my fookedness i cant remember that much of it, cept the "im not going to let anyone stop me from dancing" bit!

Both me and Gib managed to fall asleep in a field for along period of time! I managed to chew my mouth to pieces, and kept seeing things that wern't actualy there!!! Only got started on 3 times (mainly due to me falling on people while walking around the arena.)

A few piss off'd inclued - the sound system in the main arena not being loud enough, stupid little beer kids (and I emphasise the "kids" bit), the little girls that think its funny to laugh at cyber's! When one laughed and said something to me "I followed them and kept hasseling them till they said sorry! Grow up little children, everyone is different!

Part from that it was a good night, and everyone cept Oaky was on form! Oaky seems to have a cash flow problem as he seems to have no new records!
Cheers to all I met,
Teraz

Whirlpools in the air made by my hands , and the constant playing of Tiesto - Suburban Train (Cosmic Gate Remix) when i was with Fray:s
