It's been a while.. (some bragging included, a TA hitting big) ;)

As of late, I didn't have much time to write here, though I'd like to be as active as I once was, I've got some happy news I'd like to share with all of you though, the project I'm working on, Retrack'd, just got a remix release on In Trance We Trust of Black Hole, originally by Reconceal, named Second Chance (they blatantly got the name wrong though, so it's Retrack instead of Retrack'd, gonna work on getting it fixed asap), so here's some food for thought for all aspiring producers, I've started just where you have, from nothing, learning everything from scratch, realizing that most guides tell you shit, you gotta learn most of your producing skills yourself, the key is just to keep on going and to never give up. At the lousiest moments you're having with producing, you're actually learning the most.

I'm normally not making this kind of crap threads, but as a longtime TA member (not so much active, but I at least keep reading the whole time) I thought I'd share this personal "victory" with you all

Here's the preview link from Juno;

And I certainly don't mind if you download the track "illegaly". I'd just be very happy if you'd support the track and buy it if you really like it, but I'm not forcing anyone to do so if people just want to enjoy the music.

Peace

I think you probably just broke contract with your label, so I'd probably delete that if I were you

That's so true. So many tutorials out there are complete bullshit.

The track sounds really noisy.

Congrats on your personal accomplishment.

Personally i really dig the Amex remix, really a throwback type of remix... original is pretty awesome as well. Keep it up bro!

Seems it's already on YouTube, quality slightly sucks as always; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_3Z...feature=related

Yeah, original mix is kinda noisy, that's the guys preferred style nowadays.
Release date is tomorrow, 30.11., on all usual music stores

And I didn't breach one single condition in the contract with the original post :P

Thanks for the support guys, next release gonna be on Shah Music (Armada) next month or in early 2010, even better tune since I've learned a lot since second chance

Next week I'm releasing a freebie bootleg, gonna be on the promo section, you might like it

Peace!

Congrats Tarpex and thanks for keeping it real- there's a lot of very serious and famous producers (you know who you are!) that use TA, but just lurk. The ones that still do, have a huge amount of respect from their most avid base of supporters.

Many years ago, a very well known music industry manager/executive was my teacher, and one of the biggest lessons he taught us was to give something back - aside from a great group of educated and talented people, it's one of the main reasons I'm on here - I hope you do the same by posting things and advice that could help people that are now in the same position you were a while ago: trying to learn everything from scratch.

Congrats again!

Though the story was a bit hard to make out, Good to see fellow TA's getting places.

well done. Can't say anything about ITWT but Black Hole is one of the classiest labels i've dealt with.
