Yeah, the Nomad Factory stuff is very good - I tried the demo of this a year or so ago and was pretty impressed. There's no reason you couldn't use a channel strip on the master bus, but it really is designed more for individual instruments/tracks. I already own several channel strips, but they're like crack to me, so I'll probably buy this while it's dirt cheap. The synth seems like less of a no-brainer, but I've never used or heard it, so it will be interesting to hear what others think of it.

Bought the Nomad integral pack a couple of weeks ago which includes that channel strip. I'm especially fond of the Blue Tubes series which is part of the Integral pack.
