very dry, dark, and techy, at the beginning. almost "digweedish" but with more percussion. the tune that comes in @ around 50 mins. really kicked it up a notch, enjoyed that. some trippy shit afterwards, the vocals stuff (i remember some rapping... then a really long breakdown, and another male vocal around 95 mins...) Enfants was completely out of line - didn't fit for me, i dunno if you were just running out of ideas at that point?
Overall I'd say the first hour was pretty good and consistent. the rest was all over the place with your track selection. very very dark for the most park, but it was interesting and i'll have to comb over the track list again, especially at the beginning there was a lot of stuff i liked.
cheers.
I liked the trackselection, nice energy, but the mixing was a bit to weak for me...
Thanks for all the feedback and constructive criticism. Hour one was mixed by myself while the second hour was mixed by my partner. We usually tag team when we mix, but this time we decided to take a different approach and do a full half each, just to see how our sound contrasts. I admit the mixing wasn't as good in some spots as we wanted to be but this was an impromptu mix. What really makes this mix are the tracks though, for anyone who enjoys music and can get past the technicalities.
