Very nice mix, especially the first part.
Thanks
Looks really good, will listen. Although I wonder at what point it's at 177bpm.

Corrected the typo, 137 sounds more reasonable

Gonna give this a listen.
nice mix aki A, great flow and timeless selection of tracks. consistent quality throughout!
highlight of the mix for me : 04 Inkfish & Ian Ossia: Dreaming Of Mine [Inkfish 2002]

moar pls
Given your past track record, I had really, really high expectations for this. Your set of Wintergrooves mixes is one of my all-time TA favourites; in fact I listened it again two weeks ago.
This didn't quite live up, unfortunately. I still thought it was an amazing mix though. I'd only heard of one artist - Nuclear Ramjet - so this was a slab of fresh music for me. While I would agree that all the tunes here could be called trance, there were some interesting selections. One in particular sounded more like Balearic house.
With the mixing, at first I wasn't all that impressed, but then I'm fairly certain I heard some rapid BPM changes indicating that you mixed this on decks? If that's the case, bravo, because isn't far off sounding like a computer-mixed creation.
I'll be listening to this several times in the next few weeks.
Yeah, this is a great set. Excellent music, nice flow and decent mixing. I thought I heard a few minor cueing errors but you recovered nicely.
Best of all, this is a vintage prog set that doesn't just repeat the same hammered classics. Apart from the Dominion and Freefall tracks (which are hardly famous) this was all new to me, and even the tracks by well known producers such as Simon Noble and Brancaccio & Aisher weren't the obvious picks. The simplest way to do something fresh with a well-known style is to dig the crates and find some obscurities, so full credit for that.
Cheers for the comments everyone!

Or from the trancier side at least. My favourite mixes ever are Dave Seaman's & Ian Ossia's Renaissance The Mix Collection 4 and Sasha & Digweed's Northern Exposures, and I believe they are called epic house so I don't really know. Defining the genres is quite hard because people have different views on them naturally, thats why I'm usually saying that I play progressive-influenced dance music.
I think this is my best retro mix technically and structure-wise if you don't count the last three tracks, the mixing is pretty fucking horrible there but I just wanted to introduce those not that well known tunes here
Yeah i've got a couple of your old sets and actually introduced me to Sunday Club - "Etarna's Flight", as you say 'a piece if art' for me.
Getting this mix now.
