Legendary Video of Hellraiser party in Sporthallen Zuid (Amsterdam, The Netherlands)

1995, Gabber is still underground, the music dark and loud. There were many rumours about these parties in the press, about the drugs, the gabbers, the scene etc etc.

Thunderdome and Hellraiser were the main events in Holland these days. Thunderdome was hard, but Hellraiser was harder

This moment is legendary. It is what Hellraiser made special: liveacts! Tellurian (aka Leviathan = Michel Klaassen) is an Amsterdam based DJ who is like the Godfather of these parties.

At every Hellraiser party, at one moment, Pinnhead will come on stage to boost the audience to the highest level.

They came up with the idea to get some kid and let Pinnhead cut a fake leg off with a chainsaw. They found a guy with one leg, filled his fake leg with blood and chickenbones.

The guy was then 'randomly' picked form the crowd, pulled on stage by the dancing chicks, tied up and then Pinnhead did it...

The people at the party, some 8000, were almost all on xtc, speed, coke, weed etc etc. Not many knew it was a hoax! Nobody thought he would actually cut the boy's leg off. But Pinnhead did!

Many of the gabbers were in complete shock (mostly girls hehe), and they never announced it was fake afterwards. I have heard some 250 people have thrown up when this happened.

It may not look that bad on the video, but that's because the people on stage off course saw it was fake. The gabbers in the crowd were actually in complete disbelieve and didn't dance all night. Many of them even went home because of what they have seen...

This video is very rare!

Sick parties there, I never knew that it was so sick, even if its fake.
Although I wasnt there it really got onto me.

One time at Hellraiser The Box (May 23 1998) some dumb DJ started playing jungle.

Off course nobody liked that, so we all went to the ground doing nothing. No more dancing hehe...

That was a good lesson for him

Hehe that days are still on my memory.. Hellraiser was indeed hard And especially that act was very nice... and realistic from the crowd side. Id gave the party an extra dimension to it.. But some thought it was just sick.. Well it was cool in my opinion. The good old days of hardcore!!!
