June 11th, 2011 - Any trance parties?

I'm travelling to Amsterdam for a 3 day, 2 night trip. I'm in Norway for work so I thought I'd fly over during the Norweigan holiday. I was hoping to find out from some locals if there are any good trance or electronic parties scheduled for that saturday? Also, I booked my stay at the hotel Nes.

Can anyone provide some feedback on the hotel?

I love to dance so recommend clubs that are geared for dancers

There are two daytime festivals on the 11th in Amsterdam. Pleasure Island which is on an artificial island in the river, and a smaller festival called Zomerpark which is also at the river but already sold out.

Never heard of the hotel.

I'm going to Pleasure Island.

It's the Pinkster weekend so prices are ridiculous! I was lucky to find this one.

Al the hostels look dodgy, or the ones that have vacancies.
