listened to this fine collection of boomshakalakalaklala at work. i approve greatly.

Posted by Mattsanity. on Jun-23-2011 14:09:

mesmerizing mix. you should open up for dj shadow or something

Posted by KilldaDJ on Jun-23-2011 20:22:

danke young chaps

i would love to encounter dj shadow, that would tease my knees of anticipation. i can gamble the risk of him breaking my soul, shattering it into eight-thousand pieces only to reassemble them in an abstract manner whilst maintaining fidelity.

This was very naice. Very very naiiiice. Can haz higher bitrate?

Posted by KilldaDJ on Jun-25-2011 11:03:

haha awesome. what bitrate what? whats your opening bid for minimum bitrate faloney? 192? 256? ABR? CBR? what? WHAT?

also, where are your mixes? tedpromo.com has ceased to function...then again my mixriot has also stagnated and coagulated in the series of tubes i call the internets.

anyway, this mix i enjoy very much - had been building it for a while but hasnt got round to actually gluing it together...then the moon changed shape, the winds changed colours, suns were exhausted and the drab pressure of autumn was hastily approaching - i had to get my mixing shoes on. then POW! orange peels was sexed out of the aluminum and PCB orifices.

i got scared when lemon jelly came out to play. that was some srs DOPE BEETS.

thx 4 the listens me old triangles ! what shall i do next? hmm.. PLACE YOUR BETS NAO

Posted by pozz on Jun-25-2011 12:20:

i open the floor with ambient/black metal

Posted by Ted Promo on Jun-25-2011 15:46:

minimum would be like a 192 I s'pose. I dunno, the tracks just sounded fuzzy to me at 160. If 320 is possible then that'd be tight, but 192 I think would make my flappers flap rightly flappingly.

Also tedpromo.com is gone because I didn't wanna pay for hosting. My mixes are festering on some hard drive that isn't hooked up at the moment. Aging properly.

Posted by Lews on Jun-26-2011 00:26:

Really, really good shit man. Fantastic tunes and mixing and stuff. Loved it Just got to echo Ted about the quality. 256 or 320 would be great, but 192 is minimum imo.

Posted by ziptnf on Jun-26-2011 14:59:

Very solid. Probably some of the best work you've put out in a while. Some of the transitions here were better than others. I must also agree with the bitrate, it was indeed a bit fuzzy at some points. Other than that, it sounded really cool and low-fi neato jizzy tripphopping goodness.

Posted by KilldaDJ on Jun-28-2011 18:08:

aw shucks thx guise really appreciate it

i think some of the quality was lost in the final mix where i ran it through a compressor to iron out the gain issues i was having with some tracks, some of them were very well mastered and some were brickwalled.

i'll bear that in mind next time

also pozz - go there : http://rateyourmusic.com/list/pyroc...est_metal_songs

there is some rather crunky dark ambient metal noise there - defo check out the top 10

im going back into time with tranze, going to take a risk/chance and smash out a mix containing MOCKINGLY CHEESY VOCAL TRANZE from 1999-2001?

see if i can make it to the two hour mark....getting some new equipments soon also. this makes my nees crackle like gout is escaping my seams and breaking to the surface evaporating into a fine mist. the mist would become diamonds. now back to me

Mix gets a download due to that awesome Totoro pic you used for the cover.

(the tracklist looks great too, I love me some DJ Shadow/Krush/Bonobo)

Listened two days ago on a cycling sesshn. Damn, son. Really propr music! Good set programing, i didnt notice terrible transition, or I just was paying too much attention to not geting smacked by mad trucks instead of to music..

Really good. Felt like I was in a music video all the time. Thank you gangster sir!

Great stuff, ill deffo listen to this over and over

Posted by EddieZilker on Aug-06-2011 17:35:

This is a well-rounded, jazzy, challenging yet chill set. I didn't notice any errors. There was one part where it had a bit of harmonic clashing before it fell out and resumed into another song, but it worked for me enough to blame artistic license over error. Really nice work on this. Thanks for putting it up.
