Love Poundin' Sensation Nighteyes - Midway'11 (deep house, techno, disco, dubstep etc.)

Hello everyone, since I got such great feedback the last time I decided to share another one of my mixes with you guys.

One of my good friends gave me his XONEB4 for a couple of days and I decided to put together some of my favourite songs from the past couple of months. This is just me fiddling with some of the knobs (not too much though - you don't want to ruin perfectly good music with excessive beatrolls) and playing nice music to fill the evening.

The mix consists of two parts:
-Post Dub Suite, which runs at ~170 bpm and contains my favourite laidback dubstep'ish minimal drum & bass tunes. It was supposed to be an intro for the "house" mix, but it grew longer and longer and started to live a life of it's own I suppose.
-It Is What It Is. This is a mixture between 113-130bpm with nu disco, house, techno and some ambient in between.

Hope you like it and as always - all feedback is welcome.

I will not do it often to my threads, but I think this deserves atleast one bump before falling into the bottom

i listened to these multiple times over. the mixing could use a little work, not as smooth as it could be, and sometimes the flow shakes a little bit, but that doesnt take away from the excellent track selection. both mixes im gonna be keeping for a long time. nice work man

i think you'll really like Kim & Buran. He has two nice melodic house tracks on his (relatively obscure) album, which otherwise is ambient/downtempo. I can't remember the name now, and I can't access discogs at work, but i'll post a link later today.

EDIT: No entry on discogs, check your pm.

Hey man, thanks for your feedback and for sharing the tracks with me. They are really nice and I will probably use them in my forthcoming gigs & djmixes!

I also agree with your point on the smoothness & flow of the mixes. I was in a bit of a rush to put this one out (I didnt have the db4 for long). Usually I plan my mixes a bit longer. That being said, Iam still pretty satisfied with the outcome
