Swedish House Mafia moves away from Pacha

honestly, as much as I do not like privilege I think that is where they have to go unless they start finding a legit way to throw parties in fields etc

thoughts..........

Its been an incredible time and we have had some amazing memories, thanks for making Pacha history with us!

they can easily pack out privilege, but not on mondays because of tiesto...

they've also had incredible success at Ushuaia on wednesdays, but only time will tell where they will end up

Tiesto has fallen off the map somewhat. He only sold out pacha NYC on the night of the party. I know ticket prices were above $100 and it was a weekday. I think Tiesto will probably be pushed away from privilege this year. For the last three years I have seen Tiesto tickets sold on the streets of Ibiza for way less than online. Usually 15� or less

Tiesto has officially left privilege, and it is rumored that tiesto and SHM will switch places on mondays....

Funny, I just came here to bump this thread to get a status update.

I could have seen that coming a mile a way. I dont know what to think about SHM at privilege. Its the only place that will fit them really, I just really hate that club but SHM at Pacha was just way too packed. I was told about secret areas of the club that make the place more appealing, is this true?

Tiesto tickets were the cheapest on the island so the move to somewhere smaller makes sense.

yeah privilege will be a good fit for SHM, tiesto hasnt been packing it out so its a good move for him too, but no official word on his plans for ibiza 2012....

the balcony at pacha was always a nice break, along with the funky room, other than that the main floor is always rammed and impossible to move

Armin has just announced he will be doing Mondays at privilege. So where or when will SHM be. I think its another bad move for Armin just like Be @ Space was bad for him last year

i am not a big fan of privilege either . Both Armin and SHH will easily fill privilege up . But i am not sure how good those events will be ... SHM should take the terrace at Amnesia on a different night , or i kind of have a feeling they are going to come up with something totally new ... some new venue we havent heard of ....

they are already doing dates at ushuaia and solo dates at different clubs on the island

and trust me there is no new mega venue this year, so dont bank on it

maybe that will be it for them , the ushuaia dates and the solo gigs , but maybe they will come up with a couple of nights where they will have a big event in the middle of nowhere ... i am not banking on it , or hoping they will do it, just speculating . Given how they like to create big events when it comes to SHM shows , not their single solo gigs .

that's true, only time will tell! and ill keep you guys posted as usual!

Angello and Ingrosso have been getting many dates in Vegas. Maybe they want to stay close to their homes in LA this summer??!???

Looking into visiting the Island this summer. Haven't been since 2007. Likely it will be closing party week.

Confirmed, all three members of SHM is at Ushua�a on the following dates
4th of July
1st of August
29th of August

Every other Wednesday will feature at least one member of SHM
