Closing Random Talking: Yay or Nay

So far it seems like most people are pleased with the closure of random talking, and I tend to agree. What say the rest of you?

I never used random talking so I'm kinda glad to see it gone

This place has been way more entertaining during the last week. Keep it closed!

I think this is an interesting watch about how we need to breathe life back in the core. I think what we need is more filters.

Hey cool, I was going to make this thread this afternoon, since it's been a week now Thanks Jenny!

I tend to agree, I think there has been a bit more life around here in the last 7 days. Definitely a few more threads and discussions happening.

It's up to you guys though. I'll do whatever the vote says.

I like it closed simply because in a few months, I plan on creating one, just so I can finally have a successful thread.

I can't believe people are applauding this genuinely retarded idea. Random Talking was created to keep posts that are not thread-worthy from cluttering up the forum. Now that there are less quality posts the great mod's solution is to spill all that inane drivel right into our face? And people are actually seeing it as an improvement?
It certainly does not encourage me to contribute anything, cause every decent thread will now be covered in piles of excrements from people like VAR and chlola, drunk threads and "you-should-have-a-blog"-stuff.

I'm with Meat. So what happens when I just want to post something like "Did my first aid course on the weekend, becoming a volunteer paramedic! "? I start a thread for it? Fuck that right off. You'll have thread upon thread with a few replies each.
