looks very limited imo. 1 osc, no filter env. fm-osc, am-filter. very weird. i think synth1 will defeat this one in every way.

I don't really think this is meant to be anything like synth 1. It might seem a bit limited but it's got some nice modulation features that make it possible to coax sounds out of it that you will not get out of synth 1. I mean just go through some of Howie's presets for evidence, typically they are excellent.
