So how was...

Igloofest?

Pretty crazy packed, but some decent spots to dance at the sides and back. Tommy laid down some good techno, but seemed to have some experimental, weird parts to it that weren't the greatest to dance to. Perhaps he did not want to upstage Liebing, who, from start to finish KILLED IT !!!! Exactly what I've been longing - straight-up, banging, fresh German techno. Only for the headstrong. Guy's a legend. Relentless high-energy set. Our group did not leave the dancefloor for any reason when he was on.

Great sound, lights, organization. Only negatives is some of the younger guys there with a real chip on their shoulders looking for trouble...probably alcohol-induced, and some idiots engaging in shoving. Had to keep my anger management skills very honed that night as I really felt like whacking some of these young punks, who at times were even instigating fights. Very sad.

Just wait until I review the nuclear test.

Here is my BPM review:

It was hot, there was music, everyone shat themselves with the tourista. It's funny because it is true.

I only made it out for the last night for the CLR crew.. wasn't impressed all that much by what they played, I think I liked T47's set more.. Liebing's set was too big room for me. Too many white noise epic build ups and drops, it all sounded the same, I mean.. I still got drunk and danced around like a fool, had fun.. but wasn't impressed or moved by neither of em.

As usual the event was super well organized, the line up moved fast and was very efficient. Sound was great, VJ was great.. this is a world class event right now, I'm wondering how big it will get!

Igloofest should broadcast live online for people to watch at home, thats for sure... boiler room style.
