I have removed the link to this. I have found another part to it, that I am joining onto it. I will post it later on today.
Thanks Hitcher, looking forward to hearing this one! Any word on the source for this set as I don't think it's a mix that's been available before (broadcast, personal recording / mixer output)???
I got it with a whole bunch of CD's and tapes from a guy who used to promote and sell tapes and CD's in on the east coast. Some of them were mislabeled but this one and the one from Pittsburgh I had never heard before.
I'm guessing they were recorded from some sound/mixing desk. There are no jingles or anything on them, there's no crowed noise or anything either.
I think the Pittsburgh one is new too. It starts like this
01. [000] Lost It.Com - Animal
02. [007] Amoeba Assassin - Piledriver (Grayed Out Summer Mix)
03. [014] Moby - Southside (Pete Heller Mix)
also on it are
Insigma - Open Your Eyes (Original Mix)
PPK - Resurection (Original Mix)
Schiller - Das Glockenspiel (Humate Mix)
I will post it in an hour or so
Awesome,thanks for posting this set!
feel free to help yourself to my Paul Oakenfold collection or add to it if you can

Thanks Hitcher
I wonder if this was @ Club GLOW in Columbus..?..
Anyways, Thanks for sharing this, even though I switched my listening pref. long ago, I did like some Trance in 99-01. So this might be a treat!
Thanx again!!

Originally posted by ga11agher Not sure on the actual club but the recording date of this set was 14-04-2001 as part of the Perfecto US tour (with support from D:Fuse). The other set Hitcher posted from Pittsburgh was recorded on the next stage of the tour (16-04-2001). There's already a previous set from the tour available too - recorded at Tonic (Canada) on 12-04-2001. All sets have a similar but subtly different track-listing and running order. I've seen other dj's play safe and repeat the exact set from one week to the next... |
