Friday 338: Scorpio Season

Welp, it's the month of my birth so naturally I have plans lined up to celebrate all month long, starting with tonight lol. (Actually it's another friend's birthday tonight, so we're heading out for that heh).

But yeah, this is normally my Friday to work but I gave a bunch of shifts away to part timers, including today. Wewt!

I need to buy a compost, mount mirrors and put x thousand cds into shelves that also needs to be mounted

After years of consideration, I'm finally buying my first (electric) guitar.

It's finally dawned on me that since I've been wearing flannels for a couple of decades now, and my hair is so long I look like a poor man's professorial Dave Grohl, I might as well start yelling Wittgenstein quotes over distorted power chords. Why else anyway?

I've also opted for a left-handed one to make sure the odds of having a guitar playing "friend" over strum Wonderwall are decreased. And because I'm a southpaw, but that's neither here nor there.

Yeah, that's about it. Anything to distract me from work on the weekends and satisfy my gear-acquisition syndrome, really.

LOL. I initially thought "I love Razor N Tape!" then listened to the tune and was like *groan wtf*.

My anxiety and depression always spike in November. To me, personally, November signals the end of the lovely autumn weather. The time changes, and the early darkness and shorter days seem foreboding. The weather shifts to cooler/wetter weather, and the leaves are down and begin rotting. Jesus, I'm a bag of sunshine, aren't I, lol?! Just time to put my head down and plow through.

I always come ouf of a crazy summer thinking I'm going to use less alcohol now that the weather's not so inviting.

LOL oh yeah? Try growing up with a birthday in November! Worst time of year for a fun or cool birthday party as a kid. I know it was a huge part of why/how I developed socially. Not complaining, just something I figured out in hindsight about myself.

Bahahahahah. This definitely never happens for me. There is never not a reason to drink and debauch. Lulz.

Mine is in December, just a few days before Christmas, so it always felt like it was in the shadow of a much larger holiday.

I know OrangestO isn't the most loveable TA, but the tune is fine. Compared to some of the dross that gets wheeled out in MD it's positively brilliant. You're just too scared to like anything that isn't an industrial Surgeon cut from 1994.

To be fair it actually is pretty meh for a Razor N Tape release.

Definitely not CORe material, but it's so damn fun. They remind me of Corinthians supporters: wearing white, yelling random phrases, and in their late 30's. I feel at home

I remember thinking we'd never see affordable and high capacity solid state storage in my lifetime, lol. Thanks for keeping us updated and up to date, Del.
