How can I appreciate eurodance in all its glory?
I know google is my best friend, but I just wanted to ask this on TA.
You just do?
Is there something that's preventing you from doing so?
No, nevermind.
In all its glory? All of it? By combining it with metalcore, that's how:
Although Electric Callboy has other songs with more intense eurodance elements, such as Tekkno Train, their latest collaboration with Babymetal has it all: a little bit of eurodance, an awful lot of good old parapara with Japanese vocals, and someone even threw in an acid bass line at the end for good measure. Pure distilled amazeballs.
However, if that is a bit too much and you want something more tame as a gateway, here's their cover of "Everytime We Touch" by Cascada:
As of May 2024, I don't think eurodance has gotten any more glorious than this, although I have a feeling this is not even its final form. I hope it isn't (and I hope trance music borrows a bit more often from this kind of trancecore, headbanging would make reaching for lasers so much more fun).
those are tracks sound really ambitious. I respect that combination of eurodance and metalcore.
Prior to being a TA I was first a EuroAddict (no surprise) - back when I was in school I burned CDs with MP3s of Euro (and there is a handful of freestyle mixed in there too). These lists are from circa 1998? lol
Anyways, stuff on CD 0 were my tops at the time, and there's lots of gems in here to keep you busy. They're mostly in alphabetical order, separated with Euro first then Freestyle

Even if you eventually succeed in your attempts to appreciate Eurodance in all its glory, you will merely have adopted it, whereas I was born in it and molded by it.
You will never have genuinely wondered why a Philips stereo with a 3-CD changer system came with a 4-CD compilation called Quattro Stagioni. Even if I try I can't work it out now. We had to play the fourth CD on an inferior single-CD Sony. It was worth the hassle, of course.
Seriously though, if you really want to experience Eurodance in all its glory and how it was supposed to, travel to any northern small town in Sweden or Finland during summer and go to a "club" in a small town on a warm Friday. If they don't happen to be playing Eurodance, ask the DJ for Jabba Jabba, "more ysri", and you'll have a good time for the rest of the night.

Just listening to Eurodance isn't enough to fully appreciate it in all its glory tho'. Sometimes you need to *see* people properly flailing to it with the sickest shuffle steps around!
Italodance is also good as well. Or Eurodance from Italy, whatever it is labeled.
Nice Dance cover.

I'm planning to record a Hjrngymnastik set with eurodance at one point. Not sure when this will happen, though.
This is the most expensive euro/italodance record in my shelves. Quite nice, but a bit hectic, so I guess I'll pitch it down heavily.
The last 3 tracks are fire!

To appreciate Eurodance in all its glory you need to add some Lira to it:
