In terms of anthemic sound that blew up in the late 90's, I guess an argument can be made. For this thread, I'm referring to tracks that scream cheese with a pop singer

Don't say I hate armin all the time I love his old tunes. I can't believe there are idiots out there that consider his current crop of horsehit to be trance when it's more pop edm/big room dance.

So was Darude when he was working with JS16. I miss those smooth rhythmic tracks they used to produce back in the day nowadays it sounds too dirty and annoying and loud. Apart from a few part this is not bad it's from 2010 reminds me a bit of 2002 summer vocal trance with a lot of reverb and soft motifs
