Which producers sounded like they hit their stride in terms of making tracks?

I thought DJ Scot Project found his groove circa 2000. I'm not saying his tracks before then were bad. It's just that his productions started to sound harder and filthier especially when he made Scream:

Ferry Corsten actually produced one of the best hard Acid vinyls back in 1992:

Most of the producers I've listened to, I prefer their older stuff more.

Wow, Ferry is proof that producers are talented from the getgo. I'm sure Scot Project is no different.

The Acid Techno producer, *SOUR* (Massimiliano Dorigo) has definitely improved and evolved in his productions in the last few years, compared to his earlier stuff.

Why didnt Ferry ever mess around more with this sound? Dude was clearly talented and had a knack for it. Wouldve loved to hear some Moonman acid spin off with this
