which speakers did you mix this on, im not sure about the mid notch filtering, is it a different setting per track or just general over the mix? its an interesting take.

Certain Segments on certain songs. (Notched around 3.5khZ] ie: SolarStone , Aura
Especially during the quiet passages where the pops & crackles were unbearable.
