i like much of their earlier work. i always liked the sample FSOL lifted for Papua New Guinea from this.
i also think the intro to Dawn of the Iconoclast was used for some cheesy trance event like sensation white or armin only or some such nonsense
Have you ever sat down and listened to one of their albums in full? It's quite a draining experience.
Back in the days before sample packs were ten a penny they were the perfect act to sample for ethereal vocals, but their full tracks are best enjoyed in small doses, I find.
yea, i listened to their debut in full and quite liked it. some of it gets a bit cheesy, but the overall mood/tenor and the instruments used were elements i liked. some of their later albums are a bit much for me, as they transitioned to the somewhat murky genre of "world music" and became more masturbatory.
The Host of Seraphim is one of my favourites. I discovered this one thanks to that track Reverence from Hemstock & Jennings.
