-- Dumonde is back?!?!?!

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Feb-14-2026 01:15:

Hello! Dumonde is back?!?!?!

If youd asked me for a trance wish list over the years, near the top would have been the return of dumonde. Never thought itd happen of course yet randomly stumbled on this last night.

Not their best or anything but compared to modern cheese releases its far better.

I know the the dutch were at the forefront of uplifting trance, but Dumonde and their signature bassline still brings goosebumps.

Also,

Now led by founding member Jrgen Mutschall and joined by producer and audio engineer Daniel Krber (aka D.Mand), DuMonde is once again contributing to the evolution of trance musicbringing their legacy into the present.

Members:
● Jrgen Mutschall (since 1997)
● Rene Dumont (19972001)
● Dominik De Leon (19972007)
● Daniel Krber (since 2024)

They released this last year

Yep! The most recognisable signature ever (for me). Never look back was one of the first tracks i downloaded from TA.

Interesting, thanks! Where have they been the last two decades? I know mutschall was mastering other peoples tracks for a while.

Dominik de Leon has its own studio nowadays: http://www.audio-senses.com/about/de_leon_mastering/

For me, their 1997-2005 era was their best years. Specially 1999-2002. Everyone talks about Tomorrow or Never Look Back, but Atmosphere is my favorite track from them.

Wasn't it unreleased at the time? It must've been crazy hearing it when it was still a novelty

Atmosphere is an interesting selection because it's underrated compared to their more popular singles, but it's still top tier like their other tracks.

I thought i was the only one!!!! Listen to it all the time.

Was lucky enough to play it once to a good crowd while warming down for the main act. Has been in my top 10 since release. Disappointed theres been no remixes.

It would be cool a Cosmic Gate Remix (from that era).
Is a banger closing track for a set, in my opinion.
