Cosmic Gate splits after 27 years?

Not gonna pretend I followed their whole career, but I thought this was still worth mentioning.

Their pre-2006 era was their most iconic. Melt to the Ocean, Exploration of the Space, Fire Wire... alongside Dumonde and others, were one of the best duos of the 00's Hardtrance.

I liked Dumonde a bit more, but those two did an excellent job.
Let's see what Nic Chagall does now.

Yeah, Dumonde's tracks in general had a certain flare to it, so I see what you mean.

I'm still blown away by the club mix of fire wire. Cosmic Gate's bassdrum back then was one of the best in hard trance.

I like Analog Feel as well. They have good productions since 2006, just some (a lot, you could say) are quite commercial, totally different from his golden age.

To be fair wippenberg was producing their tracks alongside Nic since 2011. Bossi looked like he just fronted the duo for DJ gigs and nothing more (They tagged them as a band WTF???)

So basically, Bossi was producing during arguably their most iconic era, but took a backseat to producing when their music reached a broader audience? That's not a knock on wippenberg since music is subjective at the end of the day.
