Okay, it is an old tune, I know ... but I need your advice!
Jean Michael Jarre & Vangelis have once produced a tune which is called "Miami Vice Cocket's Theme" - it's very good btw.
And I know that there exists a trancey remix of it (okay, it's not real trance, but it's a very good remix which is better than the original). I know that this remix exists, I've listened to it on the radio years ago (and it must really be a marvellous tune if I remember it for so long ). BUT I don't know the artist who made this remix and now I'm seeking advice here ... there are many ppl who know these old tunes better than me. So anyone knows who could it be?
Btw ... it's for sure not Jan Hammer, I have this one

-= THREAD EXHUMED =-
I can close the case now. Hear me out!
I think 23 years after this thread started, I have to come out admitting: no, it was not the Killerloop Remix.
That one was good too though, I was satisfied, but still wanted to solve the mystery what remix the one was that I had in mind.
I have searched far and wide for the tune embedded in my mind. Back then I went on Winamp Streaks to hunt for it, later YouTube, every now and then. I did NOT find the exact tune.
But what I found were countless versions of the Crockett's Theme, some marvellous, some good ... and interestingly none was really bad. I conked out the complete amateur remixes though, because the tune was played on radio, you can't be a n00b to get on there, at least I thought so...
The remix was NOT found. It will maybe forever be buried in my mind ... but I think I can now make peace with this fact, 23 years later. Sometimes you need to reat things where they are.
The best Crockett's Theme Remix I found is maybe this - and with that I will close the case:
... now why did I do that: raise a 23 year old thread from the grave? I will explain.
My girlfriend told me this story about "soul pieces" (she has a more epic name for them, but in essence it is that): things that your mind is attached to (obsessed with) and that lie unsolved, in the past usually ... normally they lie scattered, doing no harm, but they ultimately limit the level of your energy because some of that energy goes into these buried things. If you retrieve them and solve these topics, you get the "soul piece" back and it will increase the energy at your disposal. And this is exactly what I wanted to do right here, right now, "R.F.N." (You know what it means? Go listen to Prex- R.F.N. as a track recommendation )
Well, since we're posting versions of Crockett's Theme, here's my favorite. Would have come out around the same time too.
