Big Ears Some more old HR3 Clubnight sets

After montana posted the whole broadcast HR3 did from Hessentag '93, I figured I'd follow it up with some more HR3-shows from back in the day. I seem to have a bunch of them lying around, particularly from Sven Väth, who, alongside Torsten Fenslau and DJ Dag, more or less was the cornerstone of the show in the early-mid 90s.

I will up some more sets later on. For now, here's one of the first HR3-shows I ever heard from Sven:

Sven Väth - Live On HR3 Clubnight 17.04.93

Ghetto Brothers - Muzik (FX Mix) (ESP)
Rich Lee - Rock So Hard (Make The Building Shake) (Direct Beat)
3xT - Aah! (Exposure Mix) (EC)
ID
Hardfloor - Happy 20th (Harthouse)
Hooligan & Catania - Oriental (Downtown)
Vernon - Wonderer (Eye Q)
The Infinity Project - Hyperactive (Fabulous)
ID
Force Mass Motion - Vanishing Point (Rabbit City)
Polygon Window - Quoth (Warp)
3xT - Aah! (Ronald Molendijk Remix) (EC)
Mystic Institute - Cyberdon EP (Evolution)
Resistance D - Human (Harthouse)
Drax - Interior (Trope)
ID
Spicelab - Hyperspice (Harthouse)
Aurin - Morphia (Harthouse)
Progressive Attack - The Secrets Of Love (Harthouse)
Marco Zaffarano - MZ7 (Harthouse)
Barbarella - Barbarella (My Name Is Barbarella / Spaceship) (Harthouse UK)
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Cosmic Baby's Impression) (Eye Q)
Sven Väth - Ritual Of Life (Tribal Acid Mix) (Eye Q)
Humate - Love Stimulation (MFS)
Elements Of Trance - A Taste Of Your Own Medicine (Midi Evil Mix) (C-Level)
P.I.T. Feat. Ramin - Mental Vision (Afrotrance)
D.O.A - Industrial Power '9d4 (Industrial Strength)
Genetic Waste - Genetic Waste (Ongaku)
Vinyl Countdown - Parole 2 (Structure)
Rabbit In The Moon - O.B.E. (Out Of Body Experience) (Hallucination)
Influx - Dreamscape (Sapho)
Up Above The World - Unleashed In The East (Exist Dance)

Loads of classics, and even goes a bit hardcore/gabber-ish towards the end. Enjoy, and feel free to help out with hosting, mirrors or tracklists.

Magma - Escape (Urban Tracks)
Elastique Culture - La Musika (Universal)
Thierry Princiotta - Bagpipes Are OK (Zolex)
Niagra - Cloudburst (Fuel)
Mirage - Keoma (Technogold)
Calderone - Flash In The Night (Space Traxx)
Red Light District - Did You Hear Me? (Phase II Mix) (Additive)
Rest Assured - Treat Infamy (Cyrus & The Joker Remix) (Urban Tracks)
Hildegard Knef - Für Mich Soll's Rote Rosen Regnen (Philips)

Marco Zaffarano - MZ5 (MFS)

This one is very hit or miss, and mostly miss for my part. The hits are great, though, such as the excellent Mirage - Keoma.

Cool, that saves me the trouble of upping the ones I have from Väth, then. I will just up other ones instead.

This one is a bit more rare, a proper live PA from Der Dritte Raum. It was part of the HR3-broadcast from Stammheim:

Der Dritte Raum - Live @ Operation Beatblitz Aufschwung Ost, Kassel 07.09.96

Vier Megahertz (Harthouse)
Slapstick (Harthouse)
Tiefsee (Harthouse)
Wellenbad (Harthouse)
Raupe (Harthouse)
Essig (Le Petit Prince)
Sonnenschein/Sunshine (Confused)
Plaste (Le Petit Prince)
Quasar (Unreleased)
Brenner (Harthouse)
Stella (Harthouse)
Mechanoid (Harthouse)
Trommelmaschine (Harthouse)
Alienoid (Harthouse)
Nachtexpress (Synchronicity)
Magnetic Fields (Harthouse)
Montiee (Harthouse)

Just wondering would you happen to have either

or

http://www.mixesdb.com/db/index.php....S._@_Clubnight

The Nuclear Rain mix has a killer tracklist...

'Fraid not, that first one looks tasty, indeed. It seems like the less known the DJ is, the harder it gets tracking the set down (unsurprisingly).

For instance, I would love a copy of the absolute insanity that is this one: http://www.mixesdb.com/db/index.php...Rave,_Clubnight The fact that the whole set was broadcasted from a huge tunnel rave in Frankfurt makes me feel a bit rude.

I think I may of found both the nuclear rain and the Marusha mix on SoulSeeker.
Just typed in 'nuclear rain' 'tunnel rave' and 'clubnight' and found a stack of mixes.

Grabbing the Taucher one. If only I had more time, I'd download all the others too and check them all as this is the kind of stuff I'm mostly interested in (old trance). Taucher's set is a bit too new though, but it's Taucher, who has produced some of my favorite trance tracks, so I'm very interested if my taste in music is similar to his.

The Taucher set was right up my alley! Great flow and nice track selection, it hit the spot for me. It had an epic quality to it that I found unique and satisfying.

Constructive Criticism: Could use a bit more variation in the vibe to keep things fresh...especially after 1hr+ of listening.

Thanks for the linkage.

Yeah, that's one of the main problems I have with it, too. It's all pretty much 2 hours of trance at the epic end (although he deserves kudos for playing Hildegard Knef(!) smack in the middle). Taucher has done better and more varied sets on HR3 in the past than this one, but it still has some good tunes that are worth checking.

I found the Nuclear Rain-set mentioned earlier, I'll upload it + a slightly more recent set when I get back home.
