so looks like Pacha is making big changes this year, whether they like it or not....

Vagabundos already left, Defected just left, Tiesto is rumored to have left also and there are rumors about another BIG DJ leaving too because of money. (guetta?)

That sucks to hear because Pacha is a really nice intimate club, visited it twice last summer and enjoyed the club despite the heavy VIP presence (which didn't affect me in any way..I know some ppl don't like it). Tiesto seemed to have done well though because everytime i would go to ibiza-spotlight.com just to check tickets, all of his parties (on ibiza-spotlight.com anyways) were sold out. As were Guetta's. But if Pacha does indeed part ways with those two heavyweight DJ's then perhaps they might feel they don't need the big DJ names to attract the crowds?

Parties such as Defected and Vagabundos made so much sense because the club fits perfectly with that style of music, so it's really hard to understand why they would want to part ways. And of course the FMIF parties are literally the most sought after tickets on the island. I can't see trance, dubstep, etc in Pacha...just wouldnt seem right.

Probably won't be visiting this year though, perhaps 2014 summer but interesting news nonetheless. Thanks for sharing

i think they are just trying to save money, i don't think guetta and tiesto will both leave but its ibiza and dj's move around every few years, especially with Ushuaia's MASSIVE success over the past two years.

and I think Pacha will do fine if they get people like afrojack, calvin harris, fedde le grand, nicky romero, quintino....
there are wayyyy too many cheap upcoming dj's that will pack out the club through the summer

Luciano is most likely going to resident at Ciprianis new club down the road from Pacha named Bomba

He will also have a few one offs at Cocoon

Tiesto is going to Vegas instead of Ibiza this year , they are paying much more .... i hope many big name Djs will move to Vegas , maybe Ibiza will get back the intimate vibe once again
