Prog vs. Emo

Duel of the genres no one can be arsed to say the full name.

(I chose Emo, by the way)

Some sort of emotional punk-rock. That's the best brief definition I can give you

I dunno what's worse, listening to the soundtrack for the teenage angst of sappy 14 year olds or being bored to death by another 12 minute tribal "prog" track with not enough ideas to carry it for even half that duration.

The teenage angst can't last 12 minutes (they'd kill themselves before the tenth minute), so it would sure be less painful.
