Any Skateboarders on TA?
I just got back into skating and am having more of a blast than I ever did. Just wondering if anyone else on TA skates..
My current setup is...
Almost Burst deck
Independent trucks
Bones Reds bearings
Almost 54s wheels

Oh man, I remember my skating days. Going around my town, and tearing up red bank once in a while. And rexplex was fun, too.
My best board:
-World industries Everlasts deck
-Phantom trucks
-Bones ceramics (Bearings)
-world industries wheels.. I forget what name, but the size was 53. And it was when they first started doing that multi color shit, so eventually my wheel split where the colors came together.
I replaced those wheels with some independents.

Awesome man. Yeah, I'm really skeptical on two-tone wheels. I won't touch 'em.
So what made you quit skating?

haha.. that's about all i can do at the moment too. it's still fun to go out with my friends who are infinitely better. they don't ridicule at all.
how are the cops where you guys live? around ruston they're fucking horrible. the university police actually aren't bad. they'll tell us "go behind the TAC (basketball arena at latech).. we don't bother patrolling over there."

Nothing really. All my friends started breaking bones, and thats when we all started to get real good. You know, like, sponsorship good. But I decided it wasn't for me, I just don't want to break any bones, i'm a pussy.
Some of my friends haven't quit, and they do small competitions around the state and stuff. One of my friends is sponsored by globe and independent.

i never had any problems with the police, cause i've never skated in illegal places.
I stopped skating cause all my skate buddies who were n00bs as well no longer had the time to skate

I used to skate, but quit like 3 years ago. I was breaking decks like once a month, and I was like 14/15 at the time, so money was a pain in the ass to earn. Plus I just got bored of it...
PS Get rid of the Indy trucks, they weigh a tonne!
