That "Fruity Loops sound"...

FL users...
you know that sound that plays when you open fruity loops and the splash screen pops up? that digital whoosh?

yea.
i want that sound to play when i open my car doors. or any door for that matter...

suggestions?

ps. how do you run a bass and a kick through one effects channel for compression and the kick and some pads through another channel for side chaining and not have a phasing kick (because 2 are playing obviously)?

Can't help with the car door, but the p.s. section is fairly simple.

Put you kick, bass and pad in different channels. Put a peak controller on the kick channel, and deselect the little light that says "mute." Now, put a Fruity Balance on the pad channel. Right click on the volume knob in Balance, select "Link to Controller," and select the "Peak" from the peak controller. Now, the gain on the pad will be controlled by the volume on the kick. Not exactly sidechaining, but close enough.

Next, route the kick channel and the bass channel to one last channel, throw on your compressor, and you're good to go.
