Everybody has their own preference as to which headphone sounds and fits better. Also, have you ever been spinning for four or five hours and then felt your phones? Fucking sweaty. There's a video online of Carl Cox literally pouring sweat out of his after a gig.

i don't like to wear someone else's sweaty cans after they've played in a 90 degree plus environment for 3 hours

ear infections from another man's sweat and dirt?

I don't mind if a friend uses my headphones but in my experience people can mistreat them. of course I mostly dj at house parties, I'm sure professional jocks are a little more ... professional hehe

I think its great the mentally challenged can be taught to use computers these days. Just wow at this thread. And when a DJ asks for a special mixer in his rider, yes its because of germs too.

ive used others headphones, no qualms about it.
but i do prefer to use my own as i'm accustomed to their fit and sound.
they just "feel right"
