I don't really know how to describe it but it 's kind of like a fat wah pluck/stab and is evident in a few DJ Sakin and Friends tracks. If anyone knows anything about it please let me know, I'm sure it's in a lot of trance songs. Here are some examples:

That's not the same sound.

The OP just wants a standard distorted 303. Probably the square wave with envelope controlled filter cutoff.

Ofcourse there are 100ers of variances, incl. Devilfish mods and imitations etc.
But yes it's the square wave with the envelope quite open cutoff quite close, bit of reso and there you go...
