I assume this is acid jazz. I like this stuff can anyone recommend anything similar? (something i might be able to find in a record store..)

Not sure if I'd call some of it "acid jazz" but it's definitely got a jazz base... hence, the Blue Note connection. Allmusic.com lists some similar artists:
