the melody is almost exactly, if not exactly the same as

the thrillseekers- dreaming of you

anyone know which one came firsT?

I haven't heard that melody yet... either that or I've heard it and don't recall it. It's not in harmonic minor perchance, is it ?

if u look hard enough many tracks are "rip-offs" as you call them. I wouldnt say it necceasarily detracts from a tune being good.

I know a lot have similarities, but its not that common that the main melodies are the same...

how similar are they? I mean...just one line...or the whole chorus part (if you can call it that) or the whole dang song?
