Do you listen to the godfathers of EDM?

Do you ever listen to stuff like Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk or any other of the godfathers of EDM?

I'm sure I've missed out a few glaringly obvious ones there

I really enjoy listening to Tangerine Dream, though it was only when I started reading interviews with DJs and album sleeves that I realised people in EDM were influenced by them. If you can get hold of it the Livemiles album is an interesting listen......

Gary Numan is an icon, although now his style is different he is still actively making music! From the New Wave I also like synth maestro Thomas Dolby, and who can forget Flock of Seagulls? Many names I am missing here, but a lot of good stuff. Ahhh the excess of the 80s!

A question, does anyone else here enjoy the music of , say, YMO, Wendy Carlos, Klaus Schulze, Isao Tomita, Kitaro, or Yanni to name a few? (and yes, I am serious about Yanni - esp. earlier works like Keys to Imagination.)

Some, like Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Juan Atkins. Damn hard to get anything from these guys in Norway though.
