New Tune: Shut Your Eyes - awaiting feedback

this is a (first) remix ive been working on for about 10 days, of a track called Shut Your Eyes by Dave Ran Dahl (not an industrial/pro producer). The original was calm/chill/laid back trance and i was hoping to turn it into a more dancable/uplifting track.

its 128 kbps, all feedback and helpful tips are welcome!

Direct Link Here: http://d49.yousendit.com/C/23XJ47DT...%20R%20Mix).mp3 (to type into winamp etc.)

EDIT: no more jumps in this one, also got rid of the silence bit and changed to 128 kbps so u dont have to wait as long.

only problem now is it cuts off a tad too early but u only miss about 20 secs of outro.

The melodies are very nice, very sweet. The mood is pretty darn good too, the back ground stringish synths seemed like they could have been a tad wetter. Definatley a very calm track here. I'm not so sure I like the broken up high hat, it sounds unnatural - especially since the mood of the track is so flowing. I think this track could definatley be something I'd put in my collection with a wee bit o' work.

Hey,
Listening ...... Hehehe Progressive intro :P, Sweet pads/Strings and that kinda *Clip Clip Clip* sound with delay is a nice touch though.
Your breakdown has a very cool feeling, one of those Happy Sadness, I liked a lot .
I dont like that thing u do with the OHats after the breakdown, sounds totally Out of Synch mate, also when u suddenly stop all sounds like, it was a demo? oh no wait there appears again.
In overall, this could be a great tune, but that Out of Synch thing u do is terrible, but is a good tune, keep it up .
Kopi =o.

hi, my oppinion of this remix :
- nice perc
- pads are good
- synth is a little computerish, try some different
- fx is a bit dry, add some reverb or delay
hope this will help you a little!
anyway, i like this proggy remix

good attempt. you need to find yourself some better kick/perc samples and beef up the bass. the lead may sound better if brought down an octave. there is some good ideas in there that need to be exploited!
