[Minimal] Semirk - Snuggly (192kbps sample)

Second sample today

Another bleepyish tune, better than the other track I posted (Tiny Egos) in my opinion. The idea is a basic one but to hopefully keep the listener hooked bu the changes on the bleepyness throughout the song and one change is there in this sample.

Hope you enjoy. Would love any feedback, good or bad.

This track is very special to hear... But it works to me, except the pitched cymbals & the lead imo.
Perhaps could you try to reduce their length? The lead is weird too, the game with the portamento doesn't fit very well with the drums.
Anyways, even if I'm not an expert in minimal this sample is pretty good!

Thanks for the review. Yeah the weirdness if how I wanted it to sound and hopefully at the same time it's catchy. Will work on your suggestions.

Anyone else like to review?

Of course! Only if I can get a review back! Anyways, listening

Nice percs starting out, however I suggest you eq them, and put some FX on them.
The synth that comes in early on, not sure if it works. Theres not really any elements that come in after the first 30 seconds. And It repeats majorly for around 4:20 minutes. Work on buildups, breaks... And melodies.

Nice man!

William

Reviewed your track mate

Yeah the idea is to use that one synth, keeping it minimal and all but want to vary it and keep it interesting throughout. The break and buildup to it need a bit of work I agree. Thanks for listening.

Hey there,

Listened to your track.
Really nice work and it's definately different. Good use of sounds and generally well balanced.
Does get a little repetetive for my liking and is a little too out there for me.

But in terms of technical merit it's a good job.

Cheers
Nem

Thanks for your review mate, really appreciated. Will work on having it a bit less repetitive with some more variation.

Thanks for listening

Interesting percussions, lead.
Try to play panning the lead like, R, L, R, L with more sense .
As a rythm is pretty nice, but musically is kinda bored imo, the same beat and lead keeps playing whole track, except for some changes with the efects over the lead and some lil breaks.
Not bad at all, sounds is decent, but needs some eq, pretty cool and fun tune to listen to.
Keep it up .
Kopi =o.

I like the fx's used on the lead throughout but it would sound better if you changed the actual notes more. It is very cool though. Towards the end the rythme gets better too.
