What bit are you talking about? The High Res Audio?

It's just a bunch of manufacturers jumping on higher bit depths and sample rates. Hi res audio is just a marking term. SACD has been around for years and that didn't catch on.

Maybe hi res will if enough people buy it, and at least the bandwidths and technology are easily available now but honestly, for the average listening it won't make any difference.

HMm that's interesting, every try doing a transition with sacd's ? I wonder what that's like?
