The same menu lets you map to MIDI controllers and has a MIDI learn. Just change the mode to MIDI instead of Host. |
Thanks for the reply. Actually, when I right-click on the knob, it brings up a screen with a menu entitled "Automation" with values 1-63 assignable. Say I've selected a cell, I click on the "Filter" knob to bring up those options, and I want to assign the "Cutoff" knob to one of the midi controlls (or to at least be able to see which midi control number it is, so I can manipulate it manually!).
I right click on "Cutoff," dbl-click on one of the IDs that are "unused" and it automatically assigns it "group filter --> Cutoff" w/ the values 0 and 0 for the p and g columns next to it. I hit "set" to assign the values, then close. So far so good...? What's next? Nothing different shows in Cubase's channel when I try to find the automation in there, and it still won't write/read automation. Where's the problem?
Thanks again for your help, it's much appreciated.
