I have. It has about $20 worth of loose change.
How long have you been keeping it for though?

Maybe like 7-8 months. Dunno. Now a days I don't use that much cash. I just happened to have this mess of coins in my cabinet. So just stacked them up, sorted, counted them and put them in different plastic bags. Now I don't know what to do with it.

Take it into the bank.
That's what I'll be doing on Monday

I have a soccer ball bank full and a huge coffee can full. It's been adding up for a long time.

It'll probably end up being quite a bit.
What are the smaller coins like in Canada? I know they're all pretty small in the US, especially compared to our massive heavy small change coins here. Hence why I keep chucking them in the change jar rather than carrying them around.

Yes. I use two or three different containers for my loose change.
Every few months or so I deposit it in my bank since they have a change counter.
So far, I have $240 US from all my change since last August.

Pennies (1 cent), nickels (5 cents) and dimes(10 cents) are the smallest. Then you have the quarters(,25 cents) the dollar the toonie(2 dollar coin). None of them are heavy.
