ridiculous....israel is a bunch of hypocrites, i just had a friend held at gunpoint in jerusalem and threatened to be killed in front of his mother...the US is one of the few countries left who supports Israel and now they are saying this? you can only burn so many bridges before you run out of options and they keep lighting the torch over and over....

The world is frankly sick and tired of the Israel/Palestine conflict and public opinion is going more and more against Israel.

not fair to say Israel is a bunch of hypocrites when the article refers to Peled and a few others thinking cutting ties and not backing Obama would be in their interest in the future. Article also said other top officials scoffed at the idea and had no intention of acting in such a manner. Granted I dont know who is paying lip service and what, calling out all of Israel for one person's comments is like saying George Bush represented the US populace as a whole, remember how well that went over?
