A man was stabbed to death near Polson Pier on June 21, 2009. (CP24)
Toronto police have charged two men with second-degree murder after two people were stabbed to death on the waterfront following a boat cruise on Sunday.
Police say they found two men suffering from stab wounds at 2:20 a.m. in the parking lot of 242 Cherry St., near Polson Pier. An argument that started on a boat cruise had spilled onto the parking lot after the boat docked.
Both victims were taken to hospital and 26-year-old Andy James died within hours, while 27-year-old Bradon Ramdeen died later on Sunday.
Toronto resident Edwin Modeste, 37, has been charged with the second-degree murder of James. Kimron Bengy, 19 and also of Toronto, has been charged with second-degree murder of Ramdeen.
They were scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning.
