Owen F - The Forgotten City

Greetings,

here's a haunting little piece I came up with over the last couple of days. It's not really my usual style.

Enjoy.

You are the reverb master

Lots of unusual sound choices and spot effects. I'm not sure this track actually goes anywhere but as a technical exercise it's pretty impressive stuff.

your choice of images always amazes, it's like seasoning. Very well judged seasoning at that!

Ha, thanks Geoff! I do enjoy Reverb, maybe a bit too much. I guess it isn't exactly my strongest piece. But it was very hard to interpret the thoughts that were originally in my head into music.

Appreciate the listen as always!

Another cool track, Owen! Probably not my favorite by you, but definitely some quality work and some very cool experimental stuff going on. The choir really gives the track an epic sound - is that Symphonic Choirs?

Wow owen, you are fucking pro. You choose the perfect sounds, everything fits so well. I love the lowpass on the drums, feels like there music in another room and your just chilling outside =D. And btw, do you cut off your reverb so its in a specific area on the freq spectrum, or do you just cutoff the highs and lows.

good shit man

That is excellent, really fits the images in the video too, I'd have imagined it being futuristic without the images anyway.

That truly would make for some extremely good Film or Video Game Music, Sci-Fi based especially.

Well Done

@Dave: Thanks for the kind words! It's not one of my better works, that's for sure. It is indeed Symphonic Choirs! I'm still getting the hang of it, as you can probably tell

@Sako: Woah, thanks! I normally just cutoff some low end from the Reverb tail. It really just depends on the sound itself I guess.

@Inposition: I'm glad you see it the way I do. Thanks very much I love video game music, especially the older stuff.

Good stuff man it's simulating imagination a lot Probably you could add some soundcloud link for track + art work only (better quality after all). Would perfectly fit any Sc-Fi Manga or maybe some retro stylish game, nice work. I really like the girl voice nice to hear this is nice ,chill man.
