I always wondered how my life would be if I had studied medicine instead. Probably completely different. Or linguistics...!
I actually find the thousands of possibilities wasted with every decision staggering.
I've been spending most of the last fortnight being an emo bitch and thinking fate has fucked me over. Sometimes in life you can do everything right and the outcome is still outside your control.
So it's fair to say I've been wondering what might have been.
I have those moments, I think everyone does. The difference in the last few years has been that I've accepted the fact I can't change anything in the past but I can definitely affect how the future will turn out.
As long as I'm alive and healthy, the rest I can influence.
